Postage and packaging

Each of the items on the site has a shipping charge to be added. It is vital that we pack them as well as possible so sometimes this can add to the shipping cost, but we can't take chances with skimpy packing.

Most items can be shipped worldwide but there are some that are marked 'UK only' and this is because they are so large and heavy it is not viable…however if you are not in the UK and you really, really have to have it then please email us your destination and we will quote you some costs for shipping it.

To help minimise the risk of loosing big orders in the postal system and to reduce the effects of a damaged parcel we always ship our items individually and never bundle items together in one parcel. This has no effect on the postal charges mainly because as the weight of a parcel goes up so does the postal charges.

When you purchase an item from us the postage and packaging charge is automatically added to the price payable and for UK purchasers this includes insurance

The following table is a table of the actual postage charges for UK customers including insurance. All UK items are sent by registered post.

Please note that not only do we sell our items we love them as well and would hate to see them destroyed in the post therefore we take special care when it comes to packaging and we are very proud of the fact that, to date, we have never lost an item nor had one damaged whilst it was being delivered!
